SIM7672Xwith the QCX216 chipset ensures seamless LTE Cat 1 connectivity and high data transfer rates. Its LCC+LGA form factor is compatible with A7672 (Cat1), SIM7000/SIM7070 (NB/Cat M), and SIM800/SIM800F (2G) modules, enabling a smooth transition from 2G/NB/Cat M to LTE Cat 1. A7683E (LTE Cat 1bis) facilitates adaptable product design with smooth transitions from 2G to LTE and standard interfaces (UART, USB, I2C, GPIO), suitable for various IoT applications like telematics and surveillance. A7676E (LTE450 & Cat 1 module) supports LTE-FDD/GSM/GPRS/EDGE wireless communication. Featuring the latest LTE Cat1 chipset, it ensures ultra-low power consumption and integrates versatile industrial standard interfaces (UART, USB, I2C and GPIO). Designed for automotive needs, SIM8800 is a multi-band 5G NR and C-V2X module supporting R15 5G NSA/SA. With an LGA form factor and AT command compatibility with SIM8200 series modules, it minimizes customer investments and facilitates a swift time-to-market. Meeting IATF 16949 requirements, it offers a unique blend of performance, security, and flexibility for automotive applications. Another automotive-grade model, SIM8150 (AP module), supports an ITS stack to address demands for enhanced driving safety, autonomous driving, intelligent transport systems (ITS), and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Tailored for automotive applications with IATF 16949 requirements, it offers a unique mix of performance, security, and flexibility.
The GNSS modules SIM65M(U)/SIM65M(W) receive GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, and QZSS L1 signals with 47 GNSS receiver channels. Featuring advanced AGPS (EASY™) and AlwaysLocate™ technology, they meet industrial standards. SIM66MD (standalone L1 + L5 dual-band GNSS module in an LCC), it provides simultaneous GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo QZSS open service L1 reception capability and GPS, BeiDou,Galileo,QZSS and NAVIC open service L5 reception capability. These SIMCom’s GNSS modules achieve precise positioning with industry-leading sensitivity and efficient Time-to-First-Fix (TTFF) while maintaining low power consumption.
SIMCom's smart modules, notably SIM8970EU (LTE Cat6), features a Qualcomm 8-core 64-bit ARM V-8 processor with a frequency of up to 2.0GHz and AdrenoTM 610 GPU, these modules are optimized for processing-intensive AI tasks. MIMO technology supports LTE Cat 6 and 2 × 20MHz carrier aggregation, ensuring high-speed data transfer crucial for AIoT applications.
